Eagle Study

Background

Our staff members were introduced to this model through different schools and were impressed by the positive outcomes.  Principals and students from these schools reported significant reductions in Ds and Fs, and an increase in student connection.  After meeting with department leaders, counselors, JHS staff, and district office leadership, we have decided to adopt this model to enhance our students' academic performance and support. We believe Eagle Study will provide a more dynamic and supportive learning environment to contribute to our students' academic success.  Students who may not feel Eagle Study is needed are welcome to request to take an additional class or two; please contact your school counselor to request a schedule change.

Eagle Study Structure

Each block day will begin with a short booster covering essential skills/topics such as organizational skills, focused note-taking, test-taking strategies, and/or information regarding Academic and Career Planning, course selection, etc.
